Hero MotoCorp has launched the all-new Glamour X 125 in India with prices starting at eighty nine thousand nine hundred ninety nine rupees ex showroom for the Drum variant while the top end Disc version is priced at ninety nine thousand nine hundred ninety nine rupees ex showroom
This latest iteration of the Glamour brings with it a host of segment first features and an updated design that blends sportiness with modern technology. One of the most notable additions is the introduction of cruise control a first in the 125cc segment. This feature is usually found only in premium bikes like the KTM three ninety Duke and TVS Apache RTR three ten. Riders can activate cruise control through a dedicated toggle switch which allows for setting and resetting the desired speed
Another key highlight is the ride by wire throttle system combined with three distinct riding modes Eco Road and Power. These modes alter the engine’s behavior to suit different riding conditions and preferences. The Glamour X 125 also offers a world first low battery kick start capability through Hero’s Advanced Electronic Ride Assist technology which uses a smart solenoid valve
The motorcycle comes equipped with a colour TFT display that features Bluetooth connectivity turn by turn navigation gear position indicator distance to empty ambient light sensor and a USB Type C charging port. Safety and convenience are further enhanced with full LED lighting hazard switch functionality and a combined braking system
In terms of styling the Glamour X 125 has undergone a design overhaul. It now features sharp edgy tank shrouds an aggressive front end and an overall sporty look with pronounced cuts and creases that add a bold character
Under the hood the bike is powered by a 124 point seven cc single cylinder air cooled engine that delivers eleven point four brake horsepower at eight thousand two hundred fifty rpm and ten point five Newton metres of torque at six thousand five hundred rpm. The engine benefits from a tuned cam profile a silent cam chain and a balancer shaft along with optimized gear ratios. Power is transmitted via a five speed gearbox
The Glamour X 125 is available in two variants Drum and Disc and comes in five attractive colour options. The Drum variant is offered in Matt Magnetic Silver and Candy Blazing Red while the Disc variant is available in Metallic Nexus Blue Black Teal Blue and Black Pearl Red
Bookings are now open across Hero dealerships as well as on the official website. Deliveries are expected to commence shortly making the Glamour X 125 a highly anticipated addition to the commuter motorcycle segment in India.
