India vs Pakistan in Asia Cup 2025: The Asia Cup 2025 is set to take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in September. This tournament will feature eight teams. According to Times of India journalist Gaurav Gupta, the Asia Cup 2025 matches will be played in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from September 8 to 28. The future of the Asia Cup 2025 became uncertain after military tensions between India and Pakistan escalated following the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Diplomatic talks between the two countries have not resumed since then.

Team India recently boycotted the Pakistan match in the WCL 2025, including ACC and ICC events.BCCI Secretary Devajit Saika recently clarified that the board has not taken any such decision and dismissed the report of boycotting the Asia Cup.
Some reports say that our notice about the BCCI’s decision not to participate in the Asia Cup 2025 and the Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup, both of which are ACC events.
“There is no truth in such reports as so far the BCCI has neither had any discussion nor taken any step regarding the upcoming ACC events, let alone writing anything to the ACC,” he was quoted as saying by Times Now.
Asia Cup 2025 is played in the T20 Format
This year, the Asia Cup will be played in the T20 format, which is a preparation for the T20 World Cup in 2026. In 2026, 20 teams are participating in the competitions. Eight teams, including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, UAE, Oman and Hong Kong, will compete in the group stage and followed by the Super Four format, and then the Top 2 teams from the Super Four will face off in the final
